STORM Lightning Rounds – a world-unique worldwide online bowling tournament. All participation takes place in Lanetalk-connected bowling center, played in the Lanetalk app.
This is how you do it
Download the Lanetalk app and complete the signup. Visit a Lanetalk-connected center. At your lane when you have started your game by throwing the first ball you tap PLAY in the menu. Find the STORM Lightning card and tap it and then PLAY again. Then just follow the instructions.
FORMAT & SCHEDULE
Qualification Rounds will be played in two different groups before all finalists will be merge into one final bracket. During Qualification players have a maximum of 20 attempts to record their highest scratch score for a 2 consecutive games total pinfall.
In the finals, you will have less attempts for each round. In the last two rounds of the event participants will have 1 attempt to bowl the highest scratch game. The Grande finale is played through a 1 game format in three steps until we have a WINNER.

Tournament rules
The tournament is open for All and Any bowlers aged 18 or above. During qualification, your 2 best consecutive scores are used. Only scratch play. 20 re-entries (attempts). The qualification ends July 11th. The tournament is available for free in all Lanetalk activated centers.
It is only allowed to play standard bowling. No other forms of play such as no-tap or others. Players who do this will be disqualified and forever excluded from play in our tournaments.
We have an algorithm that identifies deviating games that provide a dedicated team with a basis for possible disqualification. We take this very seriously.
The tournament welcomes all players, 18 years of age and above. The player has to be able to provide a photocopy of an ID or passport presenting the name and age of the registered player.
We love all the support that we receive from our partners at the bowling centers. However, this tournament is only open for their customers and not employees at the center.
